Job summary

Hope Learning Academy Edwardsville is seeking a School-Based Registered Behavior Technician to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You will work alongside a treatment team to track progress and communicate with families, helping children reach early learning and communication goals.

Requirements include being 18+, a high school diploma or equivalent, and an RBT credential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Successful background clearance.
• Has obtained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from BACB.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or human services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Hope Learning Academy Edwardsville to teach children with ASD using ABA.
• Effectively communicate with families/guardians about their child’s progress when needed.
• Work with the treatment team to track session data and help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals.
• Assist with planning and preparing for individual, classroom, and group activities.
• Model professional appearance and attitudes.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology/education/human services
