Job summary

Heartland-Aba-1 is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with Autism in home and community settings. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and a pathway to career growth within the ABA field.

You will provide one-on-one ABA services, implement care plans, record session data, and collaborate with families and the clinical team to promote independence and positive behavior changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT certification is required before working.
• Willingness to learn and a genuine passion for helping children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to remain calm and supportive during challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients using evidence-based interventions.
• Directly implement skill-building and care plans as part of the clinical team.

What You’ll Do

Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients using evidence-based interventions that promote independence and positive behavior.

Be an important part of our clinical team by directly implementing skill-building and care plans.

Accurately record session data using electronic devices.

Create a positive and supportive learning environment for clients while building strong connections with their families.

Good to Know

Services will be provided in clients’ homes or in community-based locations.

All positions start off part-time.

We’re looking for candidates who are willing to make a 6-month commitment to helping change our clients’ lives.

Experience That Can Be a Great Fit

You may already have experience that translates well to this role, including:

Education or early childhood development

Teaching assistant, paraprofessional, or instructional aide roles

After-school programs or camp counseling

Behavioral health, mental health, or social services

ABA therapy or working with individuals with Autism

Healthcare support, including DSP, CNA, HHA, PCA, or caregiver roles

Supporting a neurodiverse family member or loved one
