Job summary

Heartland ABA is seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team. Provide one-on-one ABA services to children in their homes or community settings, delivering evidence-based interventions to promote independence and positive behavior.

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, hands-on clinical support, and opportunities for career growth through BCBA schooling programs. RBT certification is required before working; paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to remain calm and supportive during challenging situations.
• Part-time commitment with 6-month minimum.

What You’ll Do

Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients using evidence-based interventions that promote independence and positive behavior.

Be an important part of our clinical team by directly implementing skill-building and care plans.

Accurately record session data using electronic devices.

Create a positive and supportive learning environment for clients while building strong connections with their families.

RBT certification is required before working.

Good to Know

Services will be provided in clients’ homes or in community-based locations.

All positions start off part-time.

We’re looking for candidates who are willing to make a 6-month commitment to helping change our clients’ lives.

Experience That Can Be a Great Fit

You may already have experience that translates well to this role, including:

Education or early childhood development

Teaching assistant, paraprofessional, or instructional aide roles

After-school programs or camp counseling

Behavioral health, mental health, or social services

ABA therapy or working with individuals with Autism

Healthcare support, including DSP, CNA, HHA, PCA, or caregiver roles

Supporting a neurodiverse family member or loved one
