Job summary

Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (WBHH) seeks a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our full-time team providing psychiatric stabilization for pediatric and adult populations. Shift: Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, every other weekend.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, but not required.
Valid RBT certification.
Minimum 1 year of experience with behavioral or developmental disorders.
Familiarity with ABA principles and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to stay calm and composed in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

Conduct behavioral assessments under BCBA supervision to identify patient needs and develop treatment plans.
Implement behavior intervention plans to target specific behavior goals.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists for coordinated care.
Assist in crisis management and provide patient support.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical standards.
Conduct daily groups focusing on communication, social, and daily living skills.
Observe patients, collect data, and supervise activities.
Assist patients with activities of daily living as needed.
