Job summary

Highlights Healthcare is seeking passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for ABA Learning Centers in North Carolina. The RBT implements BCBA-designed behavior plans and collects data during sessions, working 1-on-1 with learners and in group settings.

Center-based services operate on a day shift schedule between 8 am and 6 pm with no evenings. Full-time and part-time options are available, with paid training to become an RBT.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with individuals with special needs preferred.
• Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be able to complete a criminal history background check.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license/insurance in some cases.
• Bilingual applicants highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a BCBA, implement behavior plans for each learner.
• During sessions, collect data and conduct certain assessments.
• RBTs work 1-on-1 with learners and in group sessions.
• RBTs have access to peers and supervisors for support.
