Action Behavior Centers in Portland, TX is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children through therapy and play-based sessions. You will follow personalized treatment plans, collect session data, and collaborate with a dedicated team in a full-time daytime schedule (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm) with optional Saturdays.

Starting pay varies by education level; the role includes paid RBT certification, strong growth potential, and 90% health coverage with dental and vision.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• High school diploma
• Lift up to 30 lbs
• Sit/stand/crouch and get on/off floor frequently
• Maintain active pace while working with young children
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days
• May assist nearby ABC clinic if needed

Responsibilities

• Follow personalized treatment plans and collect simple session data
• Help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities
• Stay active and engaged throughout therapy sessions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment
• Collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed
• Watch a Behavior Technician at work via provided video links
