Job summary

Able Stars ABA Therapy in Maryland is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team providing 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision in home, school, or community settings.

You will document progress, collect data, and collaborate with families to support client outcomes. RBT certification or willingness to obtain it is required, with ongoing professional development and supervision.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required or willing to obtain (BACB).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in ABA therapy is a plus but not required.
• Strong observational, data collection, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients at home, school, and community settings.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies designed by a BCBA.
• Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and progress during each session.
• Complete timely, individualized session notes that meet company and payer standards.
• Communicate effectively with your BCBA Supervisor regarding client progress and any challenges.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment during therapy sessions.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Adhere to BACB guidelines, ethics, and all regulatory and funding source requirements.
