Job summary

The Menta Education Group is seeking an Educational Assistant with RBT credentials to support classroom instructors and students at Menta Academy Eunice in Eunice, NM. The role emphasizes targeted teaching, behavior management, and data-driven interventions.

Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, during a 10-month school calendar. The organization offers a comprehensive benefits package including health care, PTO, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required or eligible.
• Bachelor’s degree or substitute teaching certification preferred.
• Experience with high-risk special needs students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support within the classroom.
• Manage classroom and Refocus Room behaviors.
• Report behavioral concerns to appropriate staff.
• Implement and maintain behavioral program policies and data.
• Maintain classroom order and safety.
• Provide general supervision of students in the school setting.
• Assist in prevention and management of incidents of non-compliance.
• Respond to emergencies and report conditions.
• Provide interventions to manage behaviors.
• Think quickly, independently, and tactfully.
