Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking passionate ABA Registered Behavior Technicians to work with children affected by autism. This part-time role focuses on teaching communication, play, waiting, and other essential skills in the child’s natural environment, often at home, and also in schools or our centers.

We provide training and opportunities to grow, with tuition assistance, supervision towards BCBA credential, and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification held.
• Passion for working with children.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
• Web-enabled device (laptop/tablet) required.
• At least 3 weekdays with same availability.

Responsibilities

What would you be doing?

Our treatment involves working directly with the child and the family in their natural environment (most often their home but also in schools and our centers), to teach them how to communicate, share, play, wait, and other essential skills.

BE's Behavior Technician / Child Interventionist makes the session fun by teaching through play-based activities. We offer training to all staff, so they feel confident in the skills required to instruct children affected by autism. The best fit for this role is someone very outgoing, energetic, and friendly.

• Minimum of High School diploma

Compensation:

• $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience, education, and certifications

Schedules:

At least 3 weekdays with same availability

• Daytime Shift: 8AM-4PM
• Evening Shift: 3PM-7PM

Physical Demands:

Working with clients in their natural environments may require you to lift or move approximately 50 lbs. and be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
