Job summary

Butterfly Effects in League City, TX is seeking a passionate RBT/Child Interventionist for part-time work in clients' homes, schools, and our centers. You will deliver ABA therapy to children with autism, using play-based activities to teach communication and social skills.

We provide training, supervision towards BCBA credential, and a supportive team culture. A High School diploma and RBT certification are required, along with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a High School diploma.
  • Registered Behavior Technician Certification required.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Teach children and families in natural environments (home, school, center) to develop communication, play, and other essential skills.
  • Conduct sessions as a fun, play-based ABA therapy provider; deliver training to staff as needed.
  • Maintain a friendly, outgoing approach and collaborate with families and team to support progress.

What would you be doing?

Our treatment involves working directly with the child and the family in their natural environment (most often their home but also in schools and our centers), to teach them how to communicate, share, play, wait, and other essential skills.

BE's Behavior Technician / Child Interventionist makes the session fun by teaching through play-based activities. We offer training to all staff, so they feel confident in the skills required to instruct children affected by autism. The best fit for this role is someone very outgoing, energetic, and friendly.

What do you bring to the role?

Compensation:

We believe in fair and competitive compensation. As such, we provide benefits outside of your hourly rate to give you the support and energy you need to bring your best self to your role.

  • $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience, education, and certifications
Schedules:

At least 3 weekdays with same availability

  • Daytime Shift: 8AM-4PM

Physical Demands:

Working with clients in their natural environments may require you to lift or move approximately 50 lbs. and be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
