Job summary
La Vernia ISD is seeking a Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) for a roving district-wide role in La Vernia, Texas. The position supports IEP-driven instruction and behavior plans, working under a District Behavior Specialist.
Starting date is immediate. Requires BACB certification, Texas aide certificate, and relevant education. Aides with disabilities experience are preferred. This is a 4-day work week position within the district.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children with disabilities and behavioral needs.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of general office equipment.
Responsibilities
- Adapts classroom activities to include all students.
- Addresses behavioral needs or disorders with students.
- Implements individualized instructional programs per behavior plans.
- Collects daily progress data and reports to IEP team.
