Job summary

Heartland ABA in Sergeant Bluff, IA is seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA services in clients' homes or community settings. You will implement skill-building and care plans as part of a supportive clinical team, recording data on electronic devices.

Positions start off part-time with opportunities for growth. Prior RBT certification is required, and fundraising for BCBA-related schooling may be available through partnerships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• RBT certification is required before working.
• Willingness to learn and be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patience, compassion, and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions to support independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of the clinical team, directly implementing skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and engage families.
