Job summary

Valley Behavioral Health in Murray, UT is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct support to adults with autism, helping them develop daily living and social skills under supervision of a BCBA and a collaborative treatment team.

The role emphasizes implementing individualized ABA interventions to promote independence, functional skills, and meaningful community participation, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT certification within 120 days of start date (post-hire as needed).
• CPR certification (Post-hire).
• Valley de-escalation certification (Post-hire).

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment protocols as designed by the treatment team in assigned settings (home or clinical).
• Completes objective documentation meeting Medicaid/insurance requirements under BCBA supervision.
• Collects data on treatment goals and reported behaviors in home and clinical settings.
• Monitors data to determine next steps in treatment planning under BCBA supervision.
• Models effective behavior supports and positive interactions with clients and staff.
