Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Hawaii is seeking part-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to support children with autism in 1:1 settings across clinic, home, and community. Training is provided and supervision offered to help you pursue the RBT credential.

Starting pay rate is $23-25 per hour. Positions include working Mon-Fri, 1:30pm-5:30pm, with benefits such as health insurance, PTO, scholarships, and weekly pay. Prior experience and CPR/BLS are preferred or required by the role.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities preferred.
• CPR/BLS (AHA) certification is required or encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients and follow the established treatment plan/behavior support plan for skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
• Establish and maintain effective, supportive, and therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
• Implement behavior therapy techniques as instructed by supervisors.
• Document interventions and progress towards goals accurately and timely.
• Collect behavior data as specified in the client behavior support plan.
• Review data and progress reports with supervisors to strategize program improvements.
• Provide habilitation, training, instruction, and assistance to help clients acquire and maintain skills.
• Provide transportation related to activities as directed by the treatment plan.
• Support client interpersonal skills and community living.
