Job summary

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role at Ability-Builders-Consulting-Co. provides 1:1 ABA services to clients in home, community or clinic settings, under supervision from experienced BCBAs. Completion of the 40-hour RBT course is required to apply.

Qualifications

• RBT certification (not required to hire).
• Minimum 1 year experience with children.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• CPR certification.
• Level 2 background clearance completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA services to clients in home, community or clinic.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
• Implement treatment plans as outlined by the BCBA.
• Record data for goals during ABA sessions.
• Communicate progress to parents both in writing and verbally.
• Participate in weekly team meetings with the BCBA and family.
• Assist with assessment procedures and maintain a safe environment.
• Adhere to BACB ethical standards.
