Job summary

Plainsman Company, LLC. in Texas is seeking an operator to refine, bleach, and deodorize processes and assist the supervisor. You will complete daily tasks, adjust equipment per specs, and report issues to supervision.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, cross-training across roles, maintaining housekeeping and safety rules, and complying with OSHA/EPA/DEQ regulations. Flexible with rotating shifts, 7 am–7 pm.

Qualifications

• Education: less than high school or up to one year of related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Driver’s license preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE use.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily tasks assigned.
• Maintain equipment settings per Supervisor and Lead specifications.
• Report mechanical and electrical equipment problems to Supervisor.
• Perform routine maintenance on department equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices instructed by Supervisor and Lead Man.
• Maintain and enforce company safety rules: PPE and Machine Guarding.
• Report accidents, near misses, and incidents to the Supervisor and Lead Man.
• Keep the equipment in good operating condition.
