M Crowd Restaurant Group is seeking a Host/Hostess at Razzoos Stafford in Stafford, TX. The role greets guests, seats them, presents menus, and ensures a warm, efficient dining experience consistent with our hospitality standards.

You will manage waitlists, provide accurate wait times, answer calls professionally, and coordinate with servers and management to keep service smooth while maintaining a clean front-of-house area and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 17 years of age.
• Restaurant experience in hospitality environment preferred, but not required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Summary of Host/Hostess Position:

The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guests promptly upon arrival and welcoming them to their dining experience with warmth and professionalism. This role includes seating guests, presenting menus, and ensuring each interaction is friendly, timely, and aligned with our hospitality standards.

Licensing Requirements:

Valid Food Handlers Certification

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
• Maintains a constant focus on opening the front door for all guests entering or exiting the restaurant
• When immediate seating is unavailable, record guest names and party sizes accurately
• Provide guests with estimated waiting time
• Notify guests by calling out their name and party size when tables become available
• Answer phone calls professionally, following hospitality standards
• Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible
• Seat guest based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations
• Upon seating guests, present menus and inform them of their assigned server’s name. Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and fully prepared, inspecting for completeness and presentation standards
• Relay messages to servers and bussers as needed
• Must maintain a clean service area
• Conduct scheduled checks of restrooms, landscaping, windows and entryways
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members
• Ability to manage guest wait lists and provide accurate wait time estimates
• Ability to multitask and stay organized and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
• Professional, friendly demeanor with guests and team members
• Ability to work effectively with servers, bussers, and management to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Basic phone etiquette and customer service skills

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

Expected to keep work location a safe and healthy work environment. Utilize basic safety measures to keep the work environment safe. Report any safety concerns to your supervisor. Where safety rules or best practices require that protective clothing/glove/shoes/equipment to be worn, or apparatus utilized, employees must wear clothing /gloves, shoes and equipment and use the apparatus.

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the duration of the shift
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
