THIRTYTHREE97 LLC is seeking a Host/Hostess at Razzoos McKinney in McKinney, TX. You will greet guests, seat them, present menus, and maintain a warm, professional dining experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities include opening doors, managing wait lists, providing accurate wait times, and coordinating with servers and bussers to ensure smooth operations. A valid Food Handler is required; all duties emphasize exceptional guest service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 17 years of age.
• Restaurant experience in hospitality preferred but not required.
• Polished, professional appearance with exceptional hospitality.
• Must be a team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification (Licensing Requirements).

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests warmly upon arrival.
• Open front door for guests entering or exiting.
• Record guest names and party sizes when immediate seating is unavailable.
• Provide guests with estimated waiting times.
• Notify guests when their tables are ready by calling out name and party size.
• Answer phone calls professionally per hospitality standards.
• Accommodate special seating requests when possible.
• Seat guests based on preferences and balance flow.
• Present menus and inform guests of their server’s name.
• Ensure tables are clean and properly set.
• Relay messages to servers and bussers as needed.
• Maintain a clean service area.
• Conduct checks of restrooms, landscaping, windows and entryways.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite return.

Summary of Host/Hostess Position:

The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guests promptly upon arrival and welcoming them to their dining experience with warmth and professionalism. This role includes seating guests, presenting menus, and ensuring each interaction is friendly, timely, and aligned with our hospitality standards.

Licensing Requirements:

• Valid Food Handlers Certification

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
• Maintains a constant focus on opening the front door for all guests entering or exiting the restaurant
• When immediate seating is unavailable, record guest names and party sizes accurately
• Provide guests with estimated waiting time
• Notify guests by calling out their name and party size when tables become available
• Answer phone calls professionally, following hospitality standards
• Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible
• Seat guest based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations
• Upon seating guests, present menus and inform them of their assigned server’s name. Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and fully prepared, inspecting for completeness and presentation standards
• Relay messages to servers and bussers as needed
• Must maintain a clean service area
• Conduct scheduled checks of restrooms, landscaping, windows and entryways
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

Expected to keep work location a safe and healthy work environment. Utilize basic safety measures to keep the work environment safe. Report any safety concerns to your supervisor. Where safety rules or best practices require that protective clothing/glove/shoes/equipment to be worn, or apparatus utilized, employees must wear clothing /gloves, shoes and equipment and use the apparatus.

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the duration of the shift
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
