This position is responsible for receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory to ensure uninterrupted production and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, an understanding of warehouse processes, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. This role requires a balance of physical labor, technical skills, and adherence to safety standards, making it essential to the smooth and timely flow of materials through the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and Processing: Unload, inspect, and process incoming shipments. Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure proper documentation.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records. Perform regular stock checks and update inventory systems.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. Ensure orders are accurate and meet quality standards.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse. Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents.
• Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently as necessary.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to achieve daily operational goals.
• Warehouse Management System (WMS): Utilize WMS tools for inventory tracking and warehouse operations. Support the upcoming rollout of a new WMS and assist in ensuring cycle counting accuracy and effective slotting strategies.
  
  

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Required: Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including inventory slotting and cycle counting accuracy. Familiarity with WMS implementation is a plus.
