Job summary

LG Energy Solution is seeking a Specialist I, Purchasing (Raw Materials) in Holland, MI to coordinate purchasing, material planning, supplier activities, and inventory levels to ensure timely availability for production.

You will work with cross-functional teams, manage supplier deliveries, issue purchase orders, and support continuous improvement while adhering to company procedures and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in related field required.
• Foundational knowledge of purchasing, supply chain, material planning, or manufacturing.
• Ability to analyze material requirements and purchasing data.
• Ability to work under guidance while managing purchasing activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned supplier relationships and monitor delivery performance.
• Create, review, and issue purchase orders per requirements.
• Support supplier quotations, pricing, and terms negotiations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier data.
