Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in Holly Springs, NC is hiring a Raw Material Sampler 2 responsible for sampling materials and products in a GMP facility. You will work with Warehouse, QC, and Supply Chain, using SAP ERP and LIMS for inventory and sample management.

The role requires a high school diploma or higher with related manufacturing or lab experience, and preferred experience with ERP systems and training others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years related experience in a manufacturing, sampling, or lab environment.
• Associate’s Degree in Life Sciences with 2 years related experience in a manufacturing, sampling, or lab environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or similar area.
• Military experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Transfers materials into and out of Raw Material Sampling using PIT equipment.
• Performs Grade D gowning and material transfers.
• Performs sampling operations per material specifications.
• Identifies and maintains inventory levels for efficient sample throughput and scheduling.
• Collaborates with other departments (e.g., Warehouse, QC, Supply Chain).
• Uses analytical and bench top scales in sampling booths.
• Identifies issues in operations, equipment, systems, procedures, and initiates corrective action for resolution.
• Assists with training associates in Raw Material Sampling operations.
• Basic knowledge of sampling processes and procedures.
• Basic use of SAP and LIMS.
• Interfaces with warehouse and supervision.
• Executes cycle counting material in Raw Material Sampling.
• ERP knowledge for ordering and receiving materials from the Warehouse.
• Attends department GEMBA and safety walks.
• Supports departmental continuous improvement efforts.
• Other duties, as assigned
