Beecher's Handmade Cheese is opening a new cheesemaking facility in Shullsburg, Wisconsin, and seeks a Raw Intake Receiver to manage raw materials for production. Onboarding starts around December 7, with operations beginning between December 7 and 15.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to help launch a new facility and shape its quality culture. The role includes receiving milk, performing inspections and tests, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards.

Formación

• Wisconsin Raw Intake Certification is required.
• Experience in food manufacturing or dairy is preferred.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and unload raw milk and loadout raw whey.
• Verify tanker seals, wash tags, BOLs and receiving docs before unloading.
• Conduct Charm antibiotic testing on incoming milk loads.
• Collect, label, and maintain milk samples per regulations and company policy.
• Verify milk temperatures and receiving criteria meet PMO/state requirements.
• Evaluate loads for acceptance or rejection and report deviations.
• Maintain receiving records and test documentation accurately.
• Perform CIP of milk silos, receiving systems, and piping; COP cleaning of valves and hoses.
• Document sanitation parameters (chem concentrations, temps, cycle times).
• Identify sanitation or equipment deficiencies and report.
• Coordinate whey loadout and transfers; monitor product integrity.
• Maintain clean, organized, sanitary work area and follow GMP.

Beecher's Handmade Cheese is excited to be opening a new cheesemaking facility in Shullsburg, Wisconsin, and we're looking for a Raw Intake Receiverto play a key role in receiving, inspecting, and managing the raw materials that support our cheesemaking operations.

We're hiring now for team members who will begin onboarding and training around December 7 as we prepare to start cheesemaking operations between December 7 and December 15. This is a unique opportunity to join Beecher's from the very beginning, help launch a new facility, and play a key role in shaping the cheesemaking culture, processes, and traditions that will define our newest operation.

What You'll do

• Receive and unload raw milk, loadout raw whey, and receive bulk chemicals.
• Verify tanker seals, wash tags, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and required receiving documentation prior to unloading.
• Conduct Charm antibiotic testing on incoming milk loads to verify compliance with regulatory and company requirements prior to acceptance.
• Collect, label, and maintain milk samples in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Verify incoming milk temperatures and receiving criteria meet PMO, state, and company standards.
• Evaluate loads for acceptance or rejection and immediately report any deviations or food safety concerns.
• Maintain complete and accurate receiving records and test documentation.
• Perform CIP of milk silos, receiving systems, process piping, transfer lines, and associated equipment.
• Perform COP cleaning of valves, fittings, hoses, and related components.
• Verify and document sanitation parameters including:
• Chemical concentrations through titration
• Wash and rinse temperatures
• Cycle times
• Chemical usage and verification
• Identify and report sanitation or equipment deficiencies.
• Coordinate whey loadout and transfer activities.
• Monitor milk, ingredient, and whey transfers to ensure proper routing and product integrity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Follow all GMP, food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements.
• Accurately enter receiving, testing, sanitation, and production data into plant recordkeeping systems.
• Maintain records in compliance with PMO requirements, company procedures, and regulatory expectations.
• Support internal audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews as needed.
