Skills And Competencies

• Passion and curiosity for learning and working with technologies such as Java, .NET, AngularJS, React, Python, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure
• Strong understanding of high-performance computing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Familiarity with coding in Visual Studio Code or a JetBrains integrated development environment is preferred but not required
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.

Education

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or another STEM field
• Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029
• Ability to work full-time during the program dates of June 7 through August 13, 2026

Responsibilities

Support technology initiatives through data analysis, research, software configuration, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Support ongoing initiatives by assisting with data analysis, research, and project tasks that drive business outcomes
• Participate in software and product configuration activities under the guidance of experienced team members
• Assist with basic debugging and performance-tuning activities under guidance
• Pursue continuous learning through courses, workshops, and new challenges beyond established areas of experience
• Quickly learn and apply technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to data engineering
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve technical issues, including complex defects, with support from senior engineers

Moody's 10-week summer internship program is a premier opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a hands‑on learning experience, guided by Moody's commitment to integrity, excellence, and insight. The program takes place each summer from June – August and positions are available for undergraduate and select graduate students. Internships are full‑time, offering a comprehensive view of Moody's business and culture, and a chance to build professional and technical skills. Programmatic elements include networking, mentorship, leadership speaker series and volunteering events. Interns complete project work determined by their team that have real impact, fostering a sense of accomplishment and professional growth. Throughout the internship, participants receive mentorship from Moody's professionals, gaining insights into diverse career paths and cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the company. Networking events and workshops further enrich the experience, providing a platform for professional development and collaboration. As a Moody's intern, you will gain real‑world experience, turn inputs into actions, and be integral part of the team.

For US‑based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly rate for this position is $35, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
