We are seeking experienced Rates Traders to support an AI training project focused on evaluating algorithmic trading strategies for fixed-income markets. Candidates will apply their trading expertise to assess AI-generated strategies and improve their real-world accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated trading strategies for rates products.
• Assess market viability across interest rate swaps, swaptions, Treasury futures, SOFR, Eurodollar, and repo instruments.
• Provide structured feedback on algorithmic strategies and trading decisions.
• Identify gaps between AI recommendations and real-world trading practices.
• Recommend improvements to trading logic and quantitative strategy performance.
• Explain market reasoning through written and verbal discussions.
• Collaborate remotely with project and technology teams.

Required Qualifications

• Current or former Rates Trader at an investment bank or hedge fund.
• Extensive experience trading interest rate swaps, swaptions, Treasury futures, SOFR/Eurodollar, and repo products.
• Strong understanding of rates market structure, pricing, and risk management.
• Experience evaluating algorithmic or systematic trading strategies.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to assess market scenarios and explain complex trading decisions.

Preferred: VP-level or Director-level experience on an algorithmic or systematic Rates desk, along with experience collaborating on trading technology or systems projects.
