Job summary

AMERISAFE, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support rate, rule, and form fillings from DeRidder, LA.

You will prepare data, work with actuaries, and submit filings to state departments of insurance while ensuring accuracy and timely communication of approvals. Responsibilities include maintaining filing records, coordinating with actuaries, reviewing industry and regulatory updates, and supporting rate changes across ICAMS and related systems.

Qualifications

• Proven detail-oriented, analytical, accurate and organized work style.
• Strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Crystal Reports and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Excellent math aptitude and time management.
• Professional written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage policy form and rate filing processes with actuary coordination.
• Maintain filing records and track status with regulatory bodies.
• Review state insurance laws and respond to regulatory updates.
• Compile and assimilate data needed to complete rate and form filings.
• Provide data support to actuaries and state Departments of Insurance as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments and RIS on rate changes and filing requirements.
• Maintain correct filing forms for the states where filings are needed.
• Assist with rate set comparison and testing upon final approval.
• Input and test rate data in ICAMS; troubleshoot issues as notified by other departments.
