The Lewis Brisbois Newark, NJ office is seeking a highly detail-oriented Rate Analyst with Aderant experience to join our team. You will manage, analyze, and maintain client and matter rate structures nationwide, support rate-setting, and ensure accuracy across billing data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 3 years of related professional experience.
• Experience with law firm rates and legal billing systems; Aderant experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the attorney rate-setting process, including annual rate increases and enforcement of Firm minimum rates.
• Maintain accurate attorney and client rate information across Firm systems.
• Analyze historical attorney billing rates and prepare rate reports for partners and committees.
• Oversee Rate Committee processes, including documentation and materials for review and approval.
• Identify discrepancies in billing and rate data and coordinate corrections with Finance and Billing.
