Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling, LLC in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Rasper Operator to support daily production, operate forklifts, and assist with maintenance to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

You will follow safety policies, diagnose minor equipment issues, and coordinate with maintenance and crews to minimize downtime while meeting quality targets on weekdays. Previous heavy equipment experience and a strong mechanical mindset are preferred, and on-site training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy production equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude in a production environment.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
• Capable of effective communication across teams.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to operate forklifts and related equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
• Diagnose machine malfunctions and operational difficulties
• Assist with scheduled maintenance activities and support proactive maintenance efforts
• Load feed hoppers and move finished or staged products using forklifts
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area
• Keep equipment clean and orderly, following all prescribed safety regulations
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Notify maintenance and relief of mechanical issues
• Ensure TGs are running above 80% and minimize downtime
