Job summary

APR Staffing is seeking an Electrical Engineer 1 for Remedial Action Schemes (RAS) based in Vancouver, WA. The contract role focuses on electrical design, analysis, and documentation to support CC or Substation work across RAS projects.

The engineer will work with project managers and field crews to deliver compliant designs and reliable system improvements. The position requires a ABET-accredited engineering degree and at least 6 months of electrical engineering design or review experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited school is required.
• 6 months of electrical engineering design or technical review experience required.
• Knowledge of protection, SCADA, telecom, or substation concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain databases related to electrical and electronic drawings and documents.
• Prepare WECC and RAS engineering and configuration files for projects.
• Draft and prepare RAS templates and guides for projects.
• Assist field personnel and mentor junior engineers as needed.
• Review drawings for accuracy and completeness and provide corrections.
