Job summary

UCB is seeking a Thought Leader Liaison in the United States to build trusted relationships with healthcare leaders and connect external experts with our Rare Disease Organization (RDO). The role translates insights, coordinates compliant engagement, and partners across functions to support strategy, education, and patient care.

The position requires 7+ years in pharma/biotech, 2+ years in TLL or similar roles, and 80% travel. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals or biotech.
• 5+ years in field sales, product marketing, thought leader engagement or similar.
• 2+ years Thought Leader Liaison experience or role with significant overlap in responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with healthcare leaders across priority rare disease communities.
• Gather, document, and synthesize external perspectives to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
• Develop engagement plans for thought leaders, accounts, and congresses aligned to priorities.
• Coordinate compliant engagement by linking thought leaders with UCB partners across teams.
• Support advisory activities, peer education, congress engagement, and speaker development.
