Job summary

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison to serve as the primary scientific resource for Rare Disease strategies in the SF Bay Area and northern Nevada. You will engage with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to communicate clinical data and improve patient outcomes.

The role involves field-based responsibilities, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and support for sponsored research, with flexible remote/hybrid work options where possible.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required in a relevant field.
• Masters with 3+ years of Medical Affairs experience acceptable.
• Bachelor's with 5+ years of Medical Affairs experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to Opinion Leaders and healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy under MSL leadership.
• Engage with institutions to communicate clinical value data and outcomes.
• Support sponsored research and cross-functional collaboration across Amgen teams.
