Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for Rare Disease (GPA/MPA and Sjogren’s Disease) in the San Francisco Bay Area. The MSL serves as the primary scientific resource to OLs, PHDMs and other providers, executing Amgen Medical strategies to share data and improve patient outcomes.

The role focuses on peer-to-peer engagement, scientific exchanges, and collaboration with cross functional teams to advance research and education. Travel, compliance, and speaker training may be involved.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary scientific/clinical resource to Opinion Leaders and other healthcare providers.
  • Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy as led by MSL Leadership.
  • Support sponsored research and liaise with investigators for non-sponsored studies.
  • Provide field observations to inform Amgen strategies and support congress activities.

Education

Doctorate degree
Master’s degree + 3 years Medical Affairs experience
Bachelor’s degree + 5 years Medical Affairs experience
