Job summary

Vantor seeks a Solution Engineer to join the 3D Engineering team, focusing on the Raptor software suite for UAVs in GPS-denied environments.

You will interface with UAV OEMs and defense customers, contribute code, and translate field experiences into actionable requirements while collaborating with product, engineering, and GTM teams. Travel to customer sites is required to validate deployments and gather feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience supporting ISR/UAS/defense system integrations.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, and shell scripting.
• Hands-on with embedded Linux and edge compute platforms.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and system design.

Responsibilities

• Interface with UAV customers to integrate Raptor software into their systems.
• Travel to customer sites to provide technical product expertise.
• Characterize software performance and derive technical requirements.
• Assist with field integration testing on Jetson and Raspberry Pi stacks.
• Develop and convey system requirements to the product engineering team.
• Collaborate across product, engineering and GTM teams on interfaces and data flows.
