Job summary

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) invites applications for the Rapids 2 Video Analyst Intern in Commerce City, CO. This part-time hourly role supports Rapids staff with video analysis, footage delivery, and data reporting to help coaches evaluate players and plan development.

The role reports to the Technical Director and starts 01/02/2027. Responsibilities include producing analytics, coordinating with staff, and maintaining equipment, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge, education and experience in the use of performance analysis in improving team performance.
• Demonstrated experience with technology and digital media.
• Preferred: demonstrated experience with video editing software; experience with match analysis software (Sportscode, Wyscout, Metrica, Prozone, Instat).

Responsibilities

• Analyze matches and training to criteria set by Rapids Technical staff and produce footage and statistics.
• Assist in filming and analyzing match footage to provide coaching intelligence.
• Create video and data reports for high-potential players and contribute to development plans.
• Attend meetings and events as directed by Rapids Technical Director.
• Help manage and maintain analysis equipment and digital library of sessions.
• Support coaching staff with other tasks and travel as required.

Nature of Work:

This position is responsible for providing video analysis and related action plans for the Rapids 2 staff, team and individual players.

Examples of work performed:

• Assist in analyzing matches and training to criteria agreed upon by the Rapids Technical staff and producing the desired footage and statistics.
• Assist in filming and analyzing match footage to provide meaningful intelligence for coaches in a timely manner.
• Assist in creating specific video and data reports for high potential players and assist in creating player development plans for players.
• Produce and/or attend meetings, conferences and other associated events as directed by Rapids Technical Director.
• Assist in managing, maintaining and ensuring the safe utilization of all analysis equipment.
• Assist in creating digital library of sessions.
• Assist coaching staff with other tasks as necessary
• Occasional travel as required
• Assist Technical Director with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Knowledge, education and experience in the use of performance analysis in improving team performance
• Demonstrated experience with technology and digital media

Preferred

• Demonstrated experience with video editing software is preferred
• Demonstrated experience with match analysis software such as Sportscode, Wyscout, Metrica, Prozone, Instat, etc is preferred
• Previous experience as a coach or analysts in soccer is preferred.

• Strong work ethic with attention to detail
• Demonstrated high level of organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of player development in the sport of soccer and ability to understand intricacies of Colorado Rapids player development model.
• Ability to create spreadsheets and routine business correspondence using Word and Excel software.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment

Compensation

• Base hourly range $19.84 per hour
