GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Rapid Response Security Guard. The role varies by day, including customer service, patrols, or surveillance, with a focus on agility and precision.

Full-time position (32–40 hours/week) across Silicon Valley sites, including Palo Alto, with a $24/hour wage and comprehensive benefits. Must have security license, 21+ years, and be willing to work any shift and site.

Qualifications

• Must have a state security license and 32hr BSIS security trainings.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months of security experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years old and have an active driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols to spot suspicious activity.
• Control access points and verify identities.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

As a Rapid Response Security Officer, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it's customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision.

What’s In It For You

• Site Location: Varies, MUST be willing and able to cover all sites that fall under the Silicon Valley Branch
  • Site locations will include San Jose, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Santa Clara, Palo Alto, Fremont, Milpitas, Gilroy, Santa Cruz, Hollister, Salinas and Monterey
• Set schedule: Full-time, 32 - 40 hours per week
  • MUST be willing to work any day of the week (Monday - Sunday) and any shift (day, swing and overnight)

Qualifications For Rapid Response Security Guard

• You have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Preferably has six months of security experience
• Must be 21 years old
• Must have active driver's license
• MUST be willing to work any day of the week (Monday - Sunday) and any shift (day, swing and overnight)
• MUST be willing and able to work at all sites that fall under Silicon Valley Branch (Could be as far south as Salinas / Monterey)
• Please include your most up to date security resume
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!
