GardaWorld Security is seeking a Rapid Response Security Guard to protect personnel and property across the Silicon Valley sites. You will adapt to daily duties, perform patrols, monitor access points, and maintain high standards of customer service in a security-focused role.

Requirements include a state security license with 32-hour BSIS trainings, eligibility to work in the U.S., and a high school diploma or GED.

As a Rapid Response Security Officer, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision.

What’s in it for you:

• Site Location: Varies, MUST be willing and able to cover all sites that fall under the Silicon Valley Branch
  • Site locations will include San Jose, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Santa Clara, Palo Alto, Fremont, Milpitas, Gilroy, Santa Cruz, Hollister, Salinas and Monterey
• Set schedule: Full-time, 32 - 40 hours per week
  • MUST be willing to work any day of the week (Monday - Sunday) and any shift (day, swing and overnight)
• Competitive hourly wage of $24 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities for Rapid Response Security Guard

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications for Rapid Response Security Guard

• You have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Preferably has six months of security experience
• Must be 21 years old
• Must have active driver's license
• MUST be willing to work any day of the week (Monday - Sunday) and any shift (day, swing and overnight)
• MUST be willing and able to work at all sites that fall under Silicon Valley Branch (Could be as far south as Salinas / Monterey)

• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skillsIf you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
