Emory Healthcare in Atlanta seeks a Rapid Response Nurse (RRT) to provide expert bedside assessment and intervention for deteriorating patients outside the ICU. You will respond to RRT events, stabilize patients, and coordinate timely escalation to higher levels of care.
As a clinical resource, you will mentor non-ICU staff, collaborate with physicians, APPs, respiratory therapy, and nursing leadership, and document all events in the EMR to support safety and quality initiatives.
The Rapid Response Nurse (RRT) is an experienced critical care/ED registered nurse responsible for responding to Rapid Response Team events and supporting early identification, assessment, and intervention for patients exhibiting clinical deterioration outside of the ICU. This role serves as a clinical expert and consultant to bedside staff, promotes timely escalation of care, and facilitates safe transitions to higher levels of care to improve patient outcomes and safety.

Licensure: Must have a valid, unencumbered Registered Nursing License approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
Certification: CCRN
