Job summary

Allegheny Health Network's West Penn Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Rapid Transfer Unit (RTU). The RN delivers frontline patient care in a fast-paced setting, leveraging ACLS and NIHSS credentials and coordinating with the Med/Obs/Tele teams to expedite assessment and treatment.

Responsibilities include following standardized protocols, safeguarding patient safety, and contributing to quality initiatives while complying with HIPAA and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multistate via eNLC.
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications required before orientation.
• Ability to work on Med/Obs/Tele units.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in a professional practice setting.
