Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Restoration Technician in Florida to join a team performing emergency services and contents restoration for residential and commercial properties. You will follow EPA/OSHA and site safety plans, respond to after-hours emergencies, and help with equipment setup and on-site cleaning.

The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, with travel to job sites frequently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• OSHA HAZWOPER training (40 hours) is required.
• Current driver’s license and forklift certification are preferred.
• Ability to wear respirator and perform physical work is needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform content restoration work on residential and commercial properties.
• Assist with inventory of site contents and setup of emergency services equipment.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE as required.
• Operate and maintain restoration equipment and perform routine inspections.
• Travel frequently for assignments and respond to after-hours emergencies.
• All other duties as assigned.
