Job summary

Servpro of Dover/Middletown is seeking a reliable handyman/restoration technician to join our team and help families recover from water and fire damage. You will respond to emergencies, perform cleanup, and operate equipment under supervision.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to work on-call hours including evenings and weekends, and a positive team attitude. Prior restoration or construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work on-call including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations (water, fire damage).
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities (water extraction, fire damages, equipment setup, demolition).
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools and supplies.
• Communicate safety hazards, site findings, and equipment needs to supervisors.
• Maintain open communication with clients, address concerns, explain restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks (water extraction, drying, site cleanup).
