Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Rapid Response Medical Science Liaison to support psychiatric products with timely, balanced medical information and collaboration with healthcare professionals. This field-based role requires clinical knowledge, strong data interpretation, and a patient- and physician-focused approach to inform medical decisions and access strategies.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, DPH, EdD, etc.) AND 3–5 years of MSL experience.
• MSL experience in psychiatry, mental health, or schizophrenia with proven external expert relationships.
• Therapeutic expertise in psychiatry with ability to critically evaluate literature.
• Experience with Drug Information or a specialty area, especially in schizophrenia or psychiatric conditions.
• Proficiency in Medical Information databases, MS Office, and video conference platforms.
• Excellent English language skills, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries from physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, consumers, and payers.
• Present information accurately, assess what information is needed, and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Meet TL/HCPs to understand needs and continuously update knowledge on treatments, trials, and health economics.
• Support field medical activities, attend congresses, and provide medical insights to strategy teams.
