Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive an ambulance safely under varied conditions.
• Proficient in basic life support patient care procedures.
• Demonstrates strong safety awareness and public safety mindset.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Good knowledge of local Miami-Dade/Broward geography.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls with a partner to provide care and transport.
• Operates ambulance with sound driving judgment and safety practices.
• Assists in BLS patient care per procedures and protocols.
• Maintains equipment, station duties, and clean uniform and demeanor.
• Adheres to EMS standards of care and local protocols.
