Job summary

All County Ambulance in West Palm Beach, FL seeks a First Responder to provide rapid emergency and non-emergency care and transport patients to appropriate facilities. You will work with a partner, drive with sound judgment, and support BLS care within established protocols.

Training for First Aid CPR and AED (adult, child, infant) and EVOC will be offered. Applicants must be 21+, hold a Florida driver's license for at least 3 years, have a clean record, and be available for all shifts,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Florida driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years driving
• No violent crimes, grand theft, crimes against minors or elderly, or felonies.
• Must be available to work any shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Working knowledge of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls with partner, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Assists in Basic Life Support (BLS) patient care according to local protocols.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of EMS standards, equipment function and safe operation.
• Keeps units, equipment, and vehicle readiness in a clean, organized condition.
• Follows safety standards to protect self, patients, and staff; maintains good patient and public relations.
• Performs duties with strong geographic awareness of local areas and coordinates transport as needed.
