Neuralink in Austin, TX seeks a Rapid Prototyping Technician to turn innovative designs into tangible prototypes. You’ll own the prototyping workflow from intake to hand-off, operate multiple machines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for production.

The role emphasizes safety, organization, and fast iteration. You’ll manage 3D printing, laser work, and soft goods fabrication, maintain workspaces, document processes, and support equipment maintenance while meeting

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven fabrication or machining experience.
• Proficiency with 3D printers, lasers, and hand tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings/blueprints.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn new skills as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible hours including evenings/weekends if required.

Responsabilidades

• Own 3D printing from intake to hand-off and safe operation of systems.
• Operate laser machines (CO2/UV), tune parameters, test materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimize designs.
• Fabricate soft goods (sewing, cutting, pattern following) for wearable assemblies.
• Maintain and clean workspace and prototyping equipment; manage consumables inventory.
• Document all stages of prototyping (materials, settings, modifications).
• Track multiple projects, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Stay updated on new fabrication techniques and technologies.
