Job summary

Werner Enterprises’ Transportation Management Trainee Program offers an accelerated path for graduates willing to relocate and prove initiative. You will rotate through fleet management, load planning, customer service, and monthly financial reviews, with six to ten weeks of off-site training and extensive overnight travel.

After training, you move into a full-time management role off-site at a customer account, gaining exposure to marketing, operations, sales, logistics, and other critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Transportation/Logistics, Marketing, or Management.
• Six to twelve months experience with PC and Windows-based applications (Word and Excel); AS400 and Internet experience preferred.
• Two years customer service experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to relocate is required.

Responsibilities

• Observation, training, and hands-on experience across Marketing, Operations, Dedicated, Sales, Logistics, Safety, Rates, Trailers, etc., to understand interaction between departments and transportation operations.
