Cloninger Automotive Group Inc. in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Quick Lube Technician to perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and fluid checks with accuracy and efficiency.

You will greet customers, explain services, and recommend additional maintenance while maintaining a clean service area and adhering to safety guidelines. Automotive certification is a plus, and prior fast-lube experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Automotive certification is a plus.
• Previous quick lube or automotive service experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements following company standards and communicate findings to customers.
• Greet customers and explain services performed; provide recommendations for additional maintenance or repairs as needed.
• Keep the service area clean and organized; ensure tools and equipment are in good condition and report issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and handle hazardous materials (e.g., used oil) per regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and participate in training to enhance skills.
