Job summary

The Workforce Group, a LEMOINE company, seeks motivated General Laborers for Emergency Response Logistics Support in Louisiana. You will load and unload materials, move supplies, and operate basic material handling equipment at disaster response sites. Seasonal deployments may be required, with short-notice readiness.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Prior experience in general labor or logistics is preferred.
Candidates must be capable of operating material handling equipment.
Flexibility to work irregular hours—such as nights, weekends, and holidays is essential, particularly during emergency deployments.
The position also requires the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Load and unload materials and supplies at loading docks and loading points.
Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of logistics operations.
Ensure the safe and efficient movement of supplies and equipment.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
