Job summary

The Workforce Group, a LEMOINE company, is seeking skilled and reliable Forklift Operators to join our Emergency Response Logistics Support Reservists Cadre Team in Baton Rouge, LA. You will operate forklifts to load, unload, and move supplies during disaster response missions, supporting emergency operations with safe, efficient material handling.

Responsibilities include safety checks, coordinating with logistics teams, and performing general loading zone setup and breakdown.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid forklift operator certification required.
Experience operating forklifts in logistics, warehouse, or emergency response settings required.
Ability to work in varied environmental conditions and irregular hours during deployments.

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials at sites.
Assist with general logistics support including setup and breakdown of loading zones.
Conduct safety checks and routine maintenance of forklift equipment.
Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
Assist with other logistics or labor duties as needed.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
