Job summary

KLA in Boise is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide technical applications support for reticle and photomask inspection systems, and to present capabilities to customers. You will work with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions and ensure customer success.

Responsibilities include approving tests, training customers, setting up recipes, managing projects, and collaborating with marketing and sales. Travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
• Experience supporting advanced inspection systems is advantageous.
• Wamiliarity with reticle/photomask technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical applications support for reticle and photomask inspection systems.
• Approve tests, conduct customer training, set up recipes, manage projects.
• Assist marketing and Account Sales in assessing applications to meet customer needs.
• Provide follow-up technical information for specific applications.
• Escalate field issues to the product division and drive resolution.
• Collaborate with customers and the division to improve benefit of reticle inspectors.
• Generate knowledge base materials, project summaries, and product value pitches.
• Travel to customer sites is required.
