Responsibilities include:

  1. Supervising Job Opportunities Specialists in verifying eligibility for Rental Assistance Unit Subsidy Programs.
  2. Issuing check requests for broker and landlord payments.
  3. Approving lease signings, providing keys and signed leases, and troubleshooting issues.
  4. Ensuring timely payments to landlords and overseeing subsidy renewals.
  5. Reviewing tenant data entries across various databases and recommending transfer requests.
  6. Addressing requests from landlords, tenants, and community advocates.

Hours: 9 am to 5 pm

Locations: 3 vacancies at 4WTC, 150 Greenwich Street, NY, NY; 1 vacancy at 109E 16th Street

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and 3 years of relevant experience, or
  • Baccalaureate degree plus 18 months of full-time experience as a Benefits Opportunity Specialist or related social/human services work.
