Job summary

Island Hospitality Management is seeking a Ranger for Camp Margaritaville Resort in Florida. You will assist with site set-ups for arriving guests and escort arrivals after hours, ensuring smooth operations and excellent guest service.

The role involves leading RVs to sites, checking sites for issues, and coordinating with the Resort Manager on maintenance needs. A flexible schedule and reliable driving are essential traits for success in this team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Flexibility to work events during non-business hours.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use email and internet.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance.
• Ability to provide legible written reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead RVs to sites, locating them within site areas.
• Assist guests with site setup.
• Check transient sites daily for departures.
• Report maintenance issues to Resort Manager.
• Provide customer service to guests at the resort.
• Monitor pool(s) for unregistered guests.
• Inspect tie-downs for safety and issues before sale.
• Oversee the sales of sewer donuts and electrical adapters.
• Deliver packages or mail to appropriate sites.
• Assist with gate coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

As a Ranger, you will assist with all site set‑ups for arriving and departing guests. You are responsible for escorting arrivals to their site after normal business hours, communicating all issues and concerns to the RV Resort Manager, and monitoring the pool(s) for unregistered guests. Rangers provide excellent customer service to prospective and current guests in the resort at all times.

This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

• Lead RVs to sites, ensuring to locate them properly within the individual site areas
• Assist guests with site set‑up as needed
• Check transient sites daily for departures
• Remove trash from recently vacated transient sites
• Check all sites for issues or problems (i.e. water, sewer, hornets, etc.) and report all maintenance issues and concerns to Resort Manager
• Handle guest questions and complaints directly or refer them to the appropriate department
• Provide guests with accessibility by patrolling the resort frequently and assisting them when needed
• Treat sites for fire ant infestation as requested and as a normal procedure when spotting units on‑site
• Inspect tie‑downs for cleanliness, rust, damage, and other problems prior to permitting their sale
• Oversee the sales of sewer donuts and electrical adapters, if applicable
• Complete site measurements as requestedDeliver special packages and/or one‑day mail to appropriate sites
• Assist with coverage of the main gate when needed
• Routinely check swimming pool(s) for unregistered guests, if applicable
• Tag vehicles for removal by owner at unrented transient sites
• Follow safety procedures while performing duties
